The BEST banana bread traybake out there!! I used shredded coconut on the frosting rather than nuts. Works well for another alternative Went down a treat! Another 5 star recipe from Jane

I’ve been looking for a banana cake recipe that’s simple but indulgent, and this is it! The decoration ideas are inspiring, especially the nutty walnut topping. Can’t wait to try this with a caramel swirl for extra decadence!

I have made this recipe many times and always works out well,, I use Marks and Spencer fudge pieces instead of walnuts because of nut allergies. Thanks Jane for all your recipes

Hi I have made this a few times now it’s a great seller in my shop. However I’m thinking of putting freeze dried strawberries on top of the frosting instead of nuts for a change would this work well ? Tia x
