I made this cake on Tuesday for my boss who was retiring. I have made many of your no bake cheesecakes but this was my first attempt at a baked cheesecake. It was so good the best cheesecake I have ever made. The chocolate’s on top ate her favourite’

Which would be best please? Does it specifically need to be cooking chocolate? I’m not sure what the difference is!

Hiya – this is a baked cheesecake, and the mixture can often be runny – this is normal! x

I made the cheesecake mixture and it’s runny I added extra double cream and it isn’t helping. I read up it could be cos the cream cheese isn’t room temp. What can I do?

Absolutely amazing. So chocolatey. As Philadelphia cream cheese is readily available in 280g packets l adjusted all my ingredients so they proportionally matched 560g of cream cheese which is exactly 2x280g packets. You don’t waste any doing it that way. I don’t trust myself to do the curly chocolate topping so l simply grated some extra chocolate over the top. I will freeze some as l don’t want too much of a good thing in one go.

That likely means your tin is smaller than mine! You can make some mini cheesecakes with it x

I’m making this but the cheesecake mixture has made loads. 1/4 more can’t fit in the tin. Is that normal?

I spread it towards the sides of the top, as you can see in the photo, but not so much that it slides down the sides!

Thanks

Hiya, how long was it in the oven for, and did it have a wobble when it came out?
