Hiya! This can be due to the oven being too hot, over working the dough, or rolling the balls too tightly! Hope this helps! x

Hiya! I would just add up the weight of the cookie dough and divide by how many cookies you are baking. Hope this helps! x

Have you tried making these totally vegan before? Replacing the butter for vegan block and no caramel filling.

Thanks in advance!

Hiya! Yes you can just circle them with a cookie cutter whilst fresh from the oven to get a rounder shape! Hope this helps! x

Hi Jane, sorry, for the confusion, i thought i would be able to weigh them out to equal weight, but
didn’t realize the mixture would be more sticky, had trouble keeping them roughly the same size.
did you use a cookie cutter after you cooked them as yours seem perfect round in the pictures.
Thank you.

I adapted these to make caramel stuffed banana cookies and they turned out great! I made caramel sauce a few weeks ago and froze it. So when I made these cookies I just put a little ball (the size of a grape) in the middle of each cookie and they were delicious! I added chocolate chips and fudge chunks to my cookie mix. and sprinkled corse salt onto it after cooking. Yum!

If I wanted to adapt these and make them into nyc cookies rather than sandwich ones, do you think I could freeze some caramel to put in the middle? (Similar to your biscoff stuffed ones) If so how much do you think I would need? (Assuming the same amount of cookie dough!
