Hi, love the recipe.

But if I want to make / prep this the day before for a dinner whats the best way to reheat the sponge and the sauce.
I know I could reheat the sauce separately in the pan but would it get too thick and need to be thinned? if so with what?

what’s the best way to reheat the sponge the next day would the oven dry it out too much?

Thanks in advance

What can I replace it with? Or shall I just leave it out?

Hi! Wondering the same…did you end up doing this? I’ve made this before in a regular dish and it’s amazing, but I was hoping to plate it differently for a party.

I took this into work to share with my colleagues and they all said it was the best cake they had ever had. I cut into squares and covered in sticky toffee icing (in your sticky toffee cake recipe) so it was more like a traybake. I had so many compliments and many wanted the recipe. I was very popular that day! 🙂
