In reply to Linda. I used fresh peaches. The amount of lemon juice and zest completely overwhelmed the taste of the peaches. I'd try this again, adding as I did this time, some oat bran to the crumble, and reducing the lemon juice to a third of what's called for here.

I make peach or rhubarb grumble exactly same method. I throw in a banana occasionally with peach or plum if have left over. Not a cook but be interested to learn more easy recipes
