I always make ahead including the egg bit, pop in fridge and then cook for 2 mins longer. Perfect

Do you think these fondants would work if I made up the sponge mixture in advance and left them in the fridge for a few hours. Then maybe take them out of the fridge an hourish in advance and pressed in the frozen egg just before baking? I’d like to prepare these fondants ahead of time for a dinner party. Thank you! x

You can freeze these for up to 3 months – however they may not be as gooey if warming from frozen – these are best fresh! x
