Thanks.

You can do before baking if you don’t want to take it out when eating x

Do you need to remove the bay leaves?

Hi Jane
Is it possible to make the pie have sides? So there is crust at the bottom, top and sides? How would I do this if so, would I pre-cook the sides as the same time as I cook the bottom?

Could the bacon be switched out for turkey bacon?

I would make the filling and let it cool, and then assemble and then bake when you are ready to go!

This recipe was the first time I made a chicken pie and it turned out amazing. Tasted even better the next 2 days as leftovers. Will keep this as my staple pie recipe 🙂
