It’s 500g total of chocolate and 50g icing sugar. Sieve
the icing sugar into it. I kept the old recipe as I started
using this one over 3 years ago

If I want to reduce the amount of chocolate back to the original recipe of 250g each, how much icing sugar do I need to add please – I can’t find the original recipe

Thank you

Hiya! No I didn’t freeze it, but your fudge was likely hotter than mine was and therefore melted it. Hope this helps! x

When I made this fudge, the mint Aero (bar chopped up and the balls) melted and I didn’t have the effect with the green running through the fudge, like the pictures above. Did you freeze the chocolate before mixing it in? Thanks.

If melting the chocolate’s together in the microwave do you add the condensed milk in cold??

Microwave method, very low heat in short bursts. Could see the ‘greasy’ stage that has been mentioned but this passed once I smoothed the mixture into the prepared tin with a palette knife. We went with a bit of Christmas sprinkle to add some extra magic to the occasion, and it tastes divine!!! What a brilliantly simple but delicious receipe xx

Just made this and it was super delicious! Be sure to let the mixture cool a touch before adding the aero (mine was still quite warm after beating in the icing sugar and so melted it a bit). As Jane and others have said, not exactly a classic fudge, but honestly cares- it’s awesome, and comes together so quickly! A great sweet to whip up to please a crowd. ❤️
