Hi Jane!

Absolutely love all the recipes you make! I was wondering if I could add pumpkin puree to the wet ingredients? I recently made pumpkin puree with the spices you use for the homemade pumpkin spice mix and I would love to use it. I’m just worried about the consistency of the dough and the outcome of the cookies. What do you reckon?

Planning on making these for my gardening buddies as a treat, one question, why don’t you need to chill before cooking as you would do with the NYC cookies which I’m a huge fan of and customise for all sorts of things.

Can you use orange Smarties instead of m&m’s? Orange m&m’s aren’t that easy to get a hold of where I am.

In reply to Sophie. Love this pumpkin spice mix recipe but can I just ask is it supposed to be 3 tablespoons of cinnamon or 3 teaspoons? Only because the other measurements are teaspoons. I made it with teaspoons anyway as was a little scared of overdoing the cinnamon. Thank you for this recipe. I love it!

Next time I will add M&Ms separately after firming cookie balls or add just a few extra on top.

I made these recently and had forgotten to melt the butter and they were the best cookies! I’ve just remade them but melted the butter as per instructions and I don’t know why but they’re greasy and almost a wet consistency now they’re cooled (baked for 15 mins so over what recommended too so shouldn’t be under baked). Going to try again next week but not melt the butter again!! Xx
